FootGolf: A precision sport, FootGolf is a combination of soccer and golf. Rules largely correspond to the rules of golf and players kick a soccer ball into holes with 21-inch diameter cups in as few shots as possible. All ages welcome.

Fish Squaw Creek: Learn the art of fly fishing at Squaw Creek’s Fly Fishing Center. Classes teach you all about the ancient angling method for fly fishing. Resort at Squaw Creek’s on-site Fly Fishing Center offers guided trips and classes on two private ponds, and on the nearby Truckee River.

Ride Tahoe: Squaw Creek offers a variety of bike riding experiences ranging from paved bike paths that follow the Truckee River to Tahoe City and Lake Tahoe to the countless miles of roads and single tracks right in our backyard. The resort offers cruiser bikes, mountain bikes, kid carts, and tag-along rentals for family outings.

Hike Tahoe: Join a private guided hike with a certified naturalist.  Hikes range from a casual walk along the Truckee River to an epic adventure with multiple peaks along the route or ask our concierge for tips on nearby trails in North Lake Tahoe.

Swimming: Our outdoor Oasis pool complex features a large recreation pool, plunge pool, 120-foot waterslide, children’s pool, and three outdoor all-season whirlpools. The heated lap pool is open year-round. Plunge pool and waterslide open all summer.

Other Activities Include:

Mountain Buddies: This supervised program offers children ages 4–12 a variety of activities, including biking, hiking, tennis, swimming, arts and crafts, games, and more.

Tree Top Adventure Parks:  Tree platforms connected by a variety of bridges and/or zip lines.  We use the term “bridges” loosely.   Some are easy, others are very difficult, most of them are wobbly, all of them are fun and exhilarating.  After 2.5 hours of action, participants return tired, hungry, perhaps dusty and sweaty, and grinning from ear to ear.  It is not a “ride”; you will be interacting and participating for 2+ hours.

Sand Harbor – Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park: Enjoy Lake Tahoe’s most beautiful and gently sloping beaches. This magnificent state park has activities ranging from swimming, picnicing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Take pleasure in Lake Tahoe’s crystal blue waters or just meander along the parks scenic walking trails. The park also hosts the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival every summer.

North Tahoe Cruises: See Lake Tahoe from its this famous passenger paddle wheeler. Fun for all ages. Experience this alpine lake in a truly spectacular way!

Horseback Riding: Explore nearby Alpine Meadows on a guided horseback ride, or give the little cowpokes in your party a gentle pony ride.

Helicopter Tours: The resort has partnered with Heli Vertex and guests can leave right from the resort to see incredible views of Lake Tahoe, Squaw Valley, and Alpine Meadows from the air. Rides last anywhere from 10 minutes to 20 minutes and longer and there are six tour routes to chose from. Tours run on weekends from 10 am to 4 pm. Contact Heli Vertext or Resort at Squaw Creek’s concierge for details and to reserve.
